
Just to prove I'm doing my homework, here's a link to the Great Gallery at Schönbrunn Palace, where this all took place. I totally wimped out on the diagonals in the parquet floor, though. I did try putting them in, but they really detracted from the action, so I wound up whiting them out afterwards.
On the original art, which measures 8 1/2 x 11", the bottom panel is essentially a 12:1 scale drawing of The Turk. The cabinet was 3 1/2 feet long, 2 1/2 feet high, and 2 feet deep. The figure probably sat about 5 feet high at the crown of its turban.
